Thinking About Easter

As Easter approaches, it’s easy to become wrapped up in planning gatherings, preparing meals, and organizing egg hunts. Yet, Easter is about so much more—it’s about preparing our hearts to fully embrace and celebrate Christ’s resurrection.

This season invites us to pause, reflect, and realign our hearts with God’s incredible gift of grace. How can we prepare spiritually? Start by setting aside moments each day to meditate on Christ’s journey to the cross. Reflect on His sacrifice, His humility, and the overwhelming love that led Him to give everything for us.

One of my favorite things to do in the weeks leading up to Easter is to reflect on a verse that focuses on the character of God by reading it, writing it out, and praying it back. Here is a link to a 30 day reflection and meditation mini-study that can be especially meaningful through the Lent season.

This Easter, let’s intentionally prepare our hearts to celebrate the profound hope, renewal, and grace found only in the risen Savior.
